So the days here in Ohio can go from sunny and 80 to snowy and 30 degrees in April. I really enjoyed getting outside in the sun for a couple days. Spent Easter with some of my friends and family. Then in a blink of an eye I watched as the snow fell on the spring flowers. I took advantage of that day to lock myself in my craft room and designed this ghost pattern. I signed up for a month of tanning today because I have a feeling I won't get much use out of our pool this year with all the crafting I need to get done before the craft show and upcoming holiday season.

I would love to be able to have enough time to get all my ideas into patterns. But actually making a pattern to share is so time consuming and those who know me know I have very little time. This birdhouse is sold in my store finished. And the pattern is also available. I do have to give credit to my husband Joe for this one. I did the designing but he cut it out and actually put it together for me. Gotta love him!

Welcome to Primitive Gatherings

Welcome to my blog. My name is Andrea and I own a gift shop named Primitive Gatherings located in downtown Geneva, Ohio. My idea for this blog is to not only share the happenings of my store but to also share my creations. As most of you know I love to design and create ANYTHING! I have a head full of ideas and have even designed a couple patterns. Right now I am working on Fall. Yes I know the tulips arent even out yet but my friend Robin and I have this brainy idea to do a fall craft show this year. So between my retail shop, taking care of my house and family, trying to design more patterns, ebay, my web site, facebook and now this blog I will be lucky to get enough stock to even do a show. BUT I will try hard! Keep checking back often I hope to be able to post sales and maybe even some prim patterns or OOAK items I have created for sale.
